On December 10, a zero-day vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228) was discovered in a popular Java-based logging audit framework in Apache called Log4j. Since this discovery, there has been a flood of cybercriminals trying to discover instances where this vulnerability still exists in order to exploit it. According to current research, our SaaS products are not affected.

We show you how attackers use DNS and how these attacks can be detected and blocked. We will demonstrate how Log4j infected hosts can be identified using BloxOne Threat Defense and how the attackers' communication can be stopped.
