We are sensitive to the impact that price increases have to our customers, but after careful consideration, Infoblox will uplift its support service and product subscription renewal prices by 5%. This increase will ensure we can continue to deliver the timely support and high-quality products that our partners and customers have come to expect.
 
We are delighted that customers consistently rate our support and service as one of the industry's highest, and we are committed to customer satisfaction, which this increase will help ensure. As part of our ongoing commitment to you and our customers, you will see continuous innovation across our portfolio of products, as well as strengthening of our support offerings.
 
When is the Uplift effective: A renewal price increase was implemented effective October 2018 and rolled out to the U.S and Canada Regions. Effective September 2019, the price increase will be rolled out to ALL regions.
 
What product categories will the uplift affect?
 
In the U.S. and Canada:
A renewal price increase was implemented effective October 2018, that impacted specific products and 3 year contracts.
 
The remaining products, support services, and 3 year contract term lengths for support and product subscriptions will be increased in the U.S. and Canada effective September 2019. (see products list below)
 
International (LATAM, EMEA, APJ):
Starting and Effective September 2019, the price increase will be applied to all renewal service and subscription categories including:
  • All Perpetual Products and associated Add On's
    • Core DDI
    • All Infoblox Trinzic Appliances
  • All Subscriptions, SaaS products and associated Add On’s
    • Core DDI
    • Network Insight
    • Security
    • Add On's
  • All support services
  • All contract term lengths
  • All Geos/Regions
How is the uplift applied: The price increase will be applied to the net price calculated after the partner discount. Because Infoblox uses a generic SKU for initial and renewal business, increasing on net price allows us to raise pricing on renewals without impacting new business pricing. While we recognize that the initial observation for the increase, may lead to the perception of a decrease in partner discount, it is our intent that partners will pass this increase on to customers. In an effort to assist our partners through this transition, we have prepared the attached communication for end customers, for you to forward to customers as needed.
*Infoblox recognizes that pricing to end customers is at the discretion of the partner. This is the suggested increase to ensure there is no impact to the partner discount.
